Quail Run is Sun Country Amateur Golf Association Small Club of the Year!
Quail Run was honored as the 2022 SCAGA Small Club of the Year 2022. The USGA Regional office is the SCAGA Golf House in Rio Rancho. Its area of governance is the New Mexico-West Texas Region. Quail Run was nominated by two District 2 Directors, Mont Green, and Jim Collins. We were chosen for our constant drive to increase player participation, growth of the game for members and owners, ability to instruct, build, and fitting of equipment, and use the USGA Handicapping system to create fair competition. It was an honor just to benominated, the fact that Quail Run was chosen as the winner is proof to others in the golf community that we have something special here.
Golf Simulation - Golf Lab at Quail Run
As many of you have heard, a Golf Simulation unit is installed in the Quail Run Clubhouse. The simulator gives owners, members, and guests a chance to work on their games throughout the year. The unit itself is a Bushnell Launch Pro powered by Foresight Golf. The launch monitor gives top-of-the-line analytics of each golf shot struck. Data includes club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, peak height, club path, carry distance, total distance, and deviation from the target path. These collected data points help us in club fitting and in teaching golfers. This is a wonderful tool if you’re looking to improve your game.
The system can also be used to simulate play on 20 courses around the world. You can play Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Carnoustie, and Valderrama to name a few, all without a plane ticket! Come by and see the new addition.

Golf Membership
The Golf Only Membership provides quick and easy access to our 9-hole, par 31, PGA rated executive course. You also have access to our Pro Shop, driving net, putting green, and PGA & LPGA professional staff (cart rental is extra). Golf memberships also provide access to dining at The Grille, social events, a billiards room, and our library.
