Stephanie Burns
Stephanie Burns (ERYT-200) has taught yoga and stretch classes since 2015. Over the years, her focus has gravitated toward older adults and underserved populations. She’s instructed at several Santa Fe retirement communities as well as the Brain Injury Resource Center in Albuquerque. She also offers weekly live-streamed classes in Mindful Stretch. Stephanie’s certifications include Yoga for Seniors from Duke Integrative Medicine and Chair Yoga for Seniors from Yoga Vista Academy. Studies in Yin and Gentle Yoga, Love Your Brain Yoga, and SATYA round out her yoga resume. An artist, writer and horticulturist who loves to travel and spend time in nature, Stephanie believes in yoga’s healing potential for all. “I’ve always felt that the physical body is a gateway to our own inner wisdom, and that the practice of yoga facilitates our connection to that wisdom.”

Carla Casamoma
Carla is a Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist and is passionate about guiding individuals on a journey to discover their optimal best. Drawing from her experience as a registered dietitian, encompassing knowledge in positive psychology, energy medicine, plant medicine, integrated nutrition, strength training, and functional movement, she offers a comprehensive and holistic approach to wellness. Her belief in the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit informs her practice as she strives to empower others to achieve balance and vitality in very aspect of their lives. One of her core beliefs is in the transformative power of weight training, particularly as we age. She’s witnessed firsthand how strength training can enhance not only physical fitness but also overall well-being, helping individuals maintain independence and mobility as they navigate the journey of aging.

Christine Curran
Christine is a Certified Hanna Somatic Educator, trained through the Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training and a practitioner of Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). She has been working in the bodywork and movement field since 2001 as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy Instructor, Reiki Master, and Nia Technique Instructor. Christine is also a Board Member of the Association for Hanna Somatic Education. Christine discovered Hanna Somatic Education (HSE) through a local studio and was amazed at the relief she experienced after just one class. This inspired her to pursue formal HSE certification training so that she could share this knowledge with others who were experiencing pain, tension, and a diminished quality of life. In addition, she has enriched her practice with studies in pain science and neuroplastic pain, and incorporates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) into her sessions and classes when applicable.

Hi. My name is Abeer Evaldson and I have taught indoor cycling at Quail Run for 13 years. I am passionate about creating an upbeat friendly environment for all ability levels, with great music that inspires the participants to improve their fitness levels and cycling ability. My coaching style is supportive, instructive and enthusiastic. Group fitness classes are upbeat, motivational and the energy is contagious! I am a life-long runner and fitness enthusiast and was hooked on indoor cycling after taking my first Spin class 20 years ago. I am certified in indoor cycling by Madd Dog Athletics (the original spinning program) and Schwinn Indoor Cycling. Ride On!

Katherine is the proud Owner of Life Balance. She specializes in therapeutic water exercise, yoga, Pilates (mat and reformer), and personal training with an emphasis on functional movement. Trained in 2016, she has worked closely with chiropractors, learning rehabilitation exercises. Katherine is available Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 30-minute sessions or 55-minute sessions

Leticia Lima
Leticia is a native of Brazil. Before moving to the United States, Leticia owned Studio Freestyle Training in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where she specialized in helping clients perform everyday activities. Leticia is always very meticulous and innovative in her techniques, and she ensures every exercise is performed safely and efficiently. She is a respected trainer with more than 23 years of experience in the field providing professional and friendly attention to her clients. Leticia says, "I always emphasize to my clients to be committed to do the work needed, to improve their health. You can't expect good results without putting in a good effort. I am a very optimistic person, and I believe my positive energy is felt and shared by my clients to keep them motivated."

Cathy Mages is Stott-trained in the Pilates Methodology along with completing the Polestar Pilates training, which is physical therapy-based, in 2023. Teaching now for over 20 years, she has also studied with many great Pilates teachers: Ron Fletcher, Elizabeth Jones, Michelle Larson to name a few. She has worked with Dr. Nancy Wiese D.O., of Art of Health in Dallas, TX, on many clients with major spinal and joint challenges, using Pilates as a basis for re-gaining movement quality. “My commitment as your teacher is to offer you the most accurate information and empower you to take charge of your own fitness! Lynne Olsen is a NASM certified personal trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a 500-hour yoga instructor with more than 30 years of experience in the fields of movement and wellness. She is an excellent fit for Quail Run, specializing in therapeutic exercises designed to help clients build strength and alleviate painful conditions. Lynne is attentive and encouraging, offering variations to ensure that all clients feel challenged, safe, and successful. Whether your goals include improving bone density, enhancing balance, increasing strength, or simply feeling better, you’ll be well taken care of by Lynne.

Lindsay Plotkin
Lindsay has been doing facials, waxing, lash and brow tinting at Quail Run since 2017. She has been licensed to do skin care since 2011 and it is her absolute passion. Her goal is to make her clients feel relaxed and address all their skin care needs. Living in the desert, she expresses the importance of keeping your skin moisturized for a healthy and youthful glow. In her typical facial’s you will receive a luxurious treatment that lasts an hour and includes upper and lower body massage. She is available every Tuesday and looks forward to meeting new faces. A facial once a month does wonders and feels so good. Your skin will thank you too.

Gusti Ratliff
With humor and enthusiasm, Gusti Ratliff is a seasoned yoga and aqua instructor who loves to share her passion and devotion of fitness. Gusti is a certified AEA and WaterinMotion water fitness instructor. In her water classes, you can expect high energy, enthusiasm and lots of encouragement. Gusti is an experienced E-RYT 500 yoga teacher having attained the highest level of training. She teaches all styles and levels of yoga, from children’s yoga to power yoga. She is also certified yoga therapist, specializing in various chair yoga formats, balance training, as well as yoga for Osteoporosis and MS. At present, Gusti travels the country and is a presenter at SCW Mania conventions and well as other fitness events worldwide. She has been in the fitness industry for over 40 years, and now focused on supporting the active aging community, like herself!

Gary Schneider
Gary Schneider is a NASM certified personal trainer, avid tennis player, hiker, skier and musician. He has been working out consistently for 40 years. He is passionate about exercise and helping others get fit, healthy and at their best. He believes with the proper exercise, nutrition, sleep and hydration you can increase your longevity. He states “people of all ages can improve their fitness, health and body composition with regular exercise.” He is personable and attentive and is excited to be a part of the Quail Run fitness team. In addition, he owns and operates the website Santa Fe Senior Fit and instructs chair exercises at various senior facilities for Fit Group USA. He grew up in Amarillo, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Texas in Austin in radio, television and film. He spent the bulk of his career with CBS Television in Dallas, TX as President & General Manager of KTVT, the CBS owned and operated television station.

Sabine Schulze-Steele
Sabine received her MA in Cultural Anthropology from Heidelberg University in Germany. She spent two years in India with a research project on healing practices, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service. This led to her studies in alternative healing in the US. Sabine moved from Germany in 1980 and has been a body worker in Santa Fe since 1983. Sabine combines approaches from her training in massage: Structural Integration, Yoga and Mindfulness meditation with her work in Somatic Experiencing trauma treatment. She specializes in stress and pain management and trauma resolution. Sabine is available for Deep Tissue, Cranio-Sacral, Hot Stone and Swedish massages. As a breast cancer survivor, she has offered a combination of her treatment modalities to cancer patients for the past 25 years.

Pam Serna
Pam Serna has been teaching yoga at Quail Run since 2014 and has been the recreation manager since 2016. She is a certified Yoga instructor, ACE personal trainer, and senior fitness specialist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from UNLV. Pam has always been a movement specialist and aware of body mechanics since her early childhood days doing gymnastics. She understands the importance of functional movement so we can age gracefully and pian free. She loves sharing her passion of movement and working in a community that supports a healthy lifestyle. She found that at Quail Run and is inspired every day by everyone she works with. Her goal is to bring in the very best instructors/team and create a great wellness program. When Pam is not working, you will find her hiking, biking, backpacking, walking her dog, or at a yoga festival.

Tatyana began studying Iyengar yoga more than 20 years ago and she was immediately taken by the transformative power and systematic beauty of Mr. Iyengar’s teaching. She has studied extensively with Geeta Iyengar and senior teachers in India, the USA and Russia. She is a certified Iyengar teacher with more than 13 years of experience. She brings into her teaching her love of poetry and the Sanskrit language.
